What we offer

Beverley Park School offers students personalised learning experiences.

At Beverley Park School we provide intensive levels of support for students with moderate and severe intellectual, physical and multiple disabilities, in a specialised education setting.

Through a process of consultation and collaboration, our highly trained teachers and support staff will work with your child, family and service providers to create Personalised Learning and Support Plans.

Personalised Learning and Support Plans at Beverley Park School are underpinned by evidence in four main areas:

1.       The assessed individual education needs of the student.

2.       The provision of adjustments or supports to meet the students’ assessed needs.

3.       Monitoring and reviewing the impact of the adjustment and/or supports provided to the student.

4.       Consultation and collaboration with teachers, parents, support staff and other professionals where required.

(NSW Department of Education, 2020)

At Beverley Park School we strongly believe “students with a disability should enjoy the same opportunities in their education as students without disability.”

We recognise, this does not mean that every student should have the same experiences. However, they should have the same opportunities and choices in their education as students without disabilities. Beverley Park School strives to present students with as many opportunities as possible to encourage life-long learners.

At Beverley Park School we have strong community values and work very closely with families to support student educational, therapy and healthcare needs to ensure that our students can achieve to the best of their abilities across all learning environments.” (Toula Finka, Principal)

All of our staff are abide by the Disability Standards for Education 2005 and the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
